Winter's Gate (Baronial) Business Meeting Times
Business Meetings for the Barony are held once a month, generally the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm (and currently the location will be discussed on the listserve) - Contact Seneschale (Ellisif - kparrish*at*mosquitonet*dot*com ) for more information. Business Meetings are where officers of the Barony report the various goings-on within our local group. All are welcome!

Arts and Sciences (A&S) Nights
Arts and Sciences Nights are the third Sunday of the month at from 2-4pm - location is the same as Fighter's Practice (look below). Additional classes will be held throughout the year and details will be released on the Yahoo! Groups listserve. A&S Nights are an opportunity to learn about the Arts and Sciences of the SCA such as heraldry, needlework, creating one's persona, constructing garb (period clothing) as well as many other subjects. All are welcome!

Fighter Practice
Currently, Fighter Practices are being held Sundays at Growden Park off of Wilbur Rd. in Fairbanks, Alaska (right next to Goldpanners Baseball Field) from 1-4pm. This is a great opportunity to see our fighters in action! All are welcome and with some previous arrangements, we may be able to get you into armor to fight as well! (16+) Men and women alike are welcome to fight.

Ivory Thimble Teas
These are held on the second Sundays of the month at fighter practices. People are encouraged to bring a small snack to share and a needlework project to work on. This is a local guild of the West Kingdom Needleworkers Guild. It is also a great chance to see each other outside of the business of Events as well as to receive and provide encouragement to all the various projects members are working on.

Arachnes' Web
This is a meeting of those interested in the art of Lacemaking. This is a local branch of the West Kingdom Arachne's Web guild. We meet on the 4th Sunday at the month at fighter practice. Meetings start at 2pm and go till 4pm. Classes will occur at meetings as interest dictates and will be announced on the Yahoo list.
